Jim Sullivan is the Director of Technology & Technology Integration for Danvers Public Schools in Danvers, MA. His experience in technology varies between higher education and K-12 education. Jim’s role is to provide direction and support for technology that enhance teaching & learning while also being responsible for developing and implementing educational technology initiatives across all areas of the district. Jim believes that Student Data Privacy and protecting Personally Identifiable Information is an important area of knowledge for all educators & those working within schools. He completed the Future of Privacy Forum Student Data Privacy Train-the-Trainer program as part of the inaugural 2020 cohort. Jim is on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Education Technology Administrators Association (METAA) supporting professional development, networking, and other needs of K-12 Technology Directors across Massachusetts. He holds an MBA in Information Technology Management from Rivier University. Jim is a Google Certified Educator and has also obtained the Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) credential from the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN) national organization. Jim is available for local, virtual, or national presentations and is willing to present as part of a team or individually.
