Ed Snow is a passionate “people first” edtech leader with over 20 years of K-12 edtech experience. He’s currently serving the Wisconsin Department of Instruction as the assistant director of the Instructional Technology Services team. His current primary focus is Cyber and Data security. Prior to working for the state of Wisconsin Ed served as Director of Technology for the School District of Milton, Wisconsin where he founded one of the first PK-12 1:1 programs in the country. Ed is a former member of the ISTE Board of Directors, and served two terms on the board of directors for Wisconsin Educational Technology Leaders (WETL), a state chapter of the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN).
Ed is a strong advocate for student data privacy and cybersecurity having testified at the local, state and federal levels. He has been published and quoted in several Ed-tech resources. Ed has presented multiple times at the state and international levels and is best known for his human infrastructure approach to problem-solving.
