Video Surveillance Of Special Education Classrooms: Necessary Protections Of Vulnerable Students Or Intrusive Surveillance Of Select Student Populations?

This article proceeds as follows: Part I discusses the use of video surveillance as a means to minimize school violence and increase overall school safety in general education student settings. Part II discusses whether students with disabilities are more susceptible to abuse in school and related *577 case law on these issues. Part III provides policy recommendations based on existing case law and evidence–based research with a conclusion in Part IV.
