Research Agenda Needs Assessment

Research Agenda Needs Assessment

This needs assessment tool is designed to support states and territories that have implemented or are in the process of implementing a research agenda. The needs assessment has a broad focus, not limited to the scope of any Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) grant, and it is applicable to situations in which the SLDS spans multiple sectors (e.g., P-20W+) or a single organization (e.g., K12). It is meant to facilitate a reflective process for states and territories to identify areas of strength and areas in which they must work to ensure their research agenda provides ongoing value to key stakeholders, communicates the organization’s priorities, and contributes to the sustainability of the SLDS program.
