The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has instituted its data and security contract review process. As part of that process, we ensure that all contracts that involve the access to or transfer of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) contain the appropriate privacy and security contract terms.
If you would like to review our current contract template, it is available here. This new contract template includes the terms required by the Student Data Transparency and Security Act (C.R.S. 22-16-101 et. al.), and any contract entered into or renewed after August 10, 2016 will contain this new privacy and security language.
