Miles Light comes to this position having recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a Juris Doctor and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy. He has particular interests in child welfare, ethical data governance, and government surveillance.
While in graduate school, Miles interned at a wide variety of organizations including the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Competition, the US Department of Transportation Office of the General Counsel, the New York Legal Aid Society Special Litigation Unit, the International Rescue Committee, the Thurgood Marshall Law Library, and Ardent Privacy. Miles also spent a year as a student attorney in the University of Maryland Immigration Clinic. Miles earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he majored in History and minored in Asian Studies.
